Our fast-paced, progressive Web company has an immediate need for freelance contributors. The purpose of our family of sites is to help users navigate through major decisions in their lives--whether they're buying a home, considering an online degree, dealing with a medical diagnosis, or determining how much insurance they need.
Currently, we're recruiting experienced freelance writers who reside in the following metropolitan areas:
* Chicago
* Dallas
* Los Angeles
* Miami
* New York City
* Philadelphia
* San Francisco
* Seattle.
Candidates must have comprehensive knowledge of, and proven Web writing experience in, one or more of the following areas:
* Autos
* Education
* Health
* Home improvement
* Insurance
* Lending
* Real estate.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
* A simple, straightforward and informative writing style
* A strong command of grammar
* An understanding of how to optimize content and write for the Web
* The ability to produce high-quality, concise content under tight deadlines
* The ability to manage multiple projects.
Our rate is $15 per 400-500 word article, with room for growth. Articles are generally assigned in batches.
