Part-time Beauty Entertainment Editors /Writers (Telecommute) - BE! Magazine

Post date: 08 September 2010
Deadline: open

Salon City Media; print, online and digital publishers of BE! (Beauty Entertainment) Magazine, is expanding our part-time editorial and writing team. BE! is the new "People Magazine for Beauty." We're looking for one or more work-from-home professionals to handle part time editorial duties, monthly issue assignments or writing projects. Your work is done off site by computer and telephone - and you can work from New York, Chicago and other cities because of our interest in reporting on our national Indie Salon Network.

nterested editors/writers should have a keen appreciation for celeb news, beauty, fashion, short 100+ word style interviews, 10-25 word product reviews, wellness and salon people. Working fast, accurately, creatively and with "less is more" word counts ( 10-250 words average) is a plus. Edgy, pop culture awareness and "entertainment" writing style a plus plus. Positions can lead to full time work if you're really loyal, pragmatic and can show us your team-playing reliability. Send resume or email. Tell us why YOU are the one we are seeking. Gotta love people, be able to enjoy working from home with a boutique-sized media company that reaches the entire country and beyond.

We are looking for authentic types that know what it takes to start from the beginning. If you can interview rising celebrities ( 1000+ words ), let us know. Tell us why your writing style can compliment BE! Magazine's brand of beauty and entertainment. Above all - be energized, positive, communicative, trustworthy, steady, deadline-driven and have a 'trooper' mentality. You're welcome to email us or leave a brief phone message at 310-402-2803. BE! Well! Writer compensation starts at $25 and up. Editors start higher.
