Post date: 28 September 2010

“The Women Writers Workshop provided an opportunity to rewrite my screenplay with a top caliber story editor at a fraction of the cost. For writers who reasonably know the craft…I highly recommend this workshop.” – Cathleen MacDonald, Writer/Producer, Motion Picture Enterprises Inc. Read more.

The WIFT-T Women Writers Workshop is for intermediate female feature film screenwriters who want to develop their first or second draft in an intimate environment. Participants must submit a completed draft or treatment to be shared with the group, and all registrants are required to read their classmates’ scripts prior to the first workshop.

Each of the three sessions consists of instruction, hands-on exercises and group discussions of participants’ projects. Themes include character development, structure and conflict. Upon conclusion of the program, participants receive an extensive feedback package from the instructor, a seasoned story editor.
