Kadın/Woman 2000 is a semi-annual, bilingual (English and Turkish) Women's Studies Journal first issued in 2001. Kadın/Woman 2000 contributes to the circulation and exchange of ideas in the multidisciplinary, international arena of women's studies and in research in other disciplines. Kadın/Woman 2000 is a publication of the Center for Women's Studies established in 1998 at Eastern Mediterranean University in North Cyprus (http://cws.emu.edu.tr).

We actively seek contributions – individual and/or colaborative – from across the globe and from multiple perspectives, and encourage participation of all who are engaged in women's studies within or beyond formal educational institutions. We welcome a variety of approaches through the whole range of disciplines. We also invite conference reports and announcements, calls for papers, notices of new publications, etc., from individuals or groups in the international feminist community. Send your papers, notes and book reviews and share the your recent and timely research and writing on women's studies in this multidisciplinary and international area of women's, gender and feminist studies.
