This is a general list and is not exclusive to women writers; however most of these magazines are women/family-oriented. Please click on the magazine title to view the guidelines and check if they are accepting submissions at this time. For magazines paying on a per-word basis, our assumption is that an article contains 1,000 words. Top-paying markets for poetry can be found here, and for short stories here.
