Women's Connection Meeting About Pets and Poetry

Pets and poetry is the theme for the next Fremont Area Women's Connection meeting Aug. 10 at the Fremont Country Club, 2340 E. State St. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. The luncheon begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $12 inclusive.

The program will feature Brittney Laird, of Bark Avenue Pet Boutique, and the winners of the "Paws for Poetry" contest.

Speaker is stroke survivor Anna England sharing how "I Can Still Smell The Roses."

For free childcare during the meeting, report the number of children to Donna Miller when making reservation. Bring a sack lunch for each child.
