Editor Needed by Women's Running Magazine

Women’s Running, the only magazine in the U.S. devoted to running for women, is looking for an Editor to lead the creation of the six-times-per-year national magazine. The Editor will plan the editorial calendar; manage a budget; lead a team of freelance writers; edit all content of the magazine; write articles and blog posts; source photos; and collaborate with the art director on design. The job requires expert editing, proofing, writing and time-management skills. Must be highly
organized, creative, passionate about running and living a healthy active lifestyle and a team player.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in magazine publishing, preferably at a women’s lifestyle or fitness-related publication.

This position is based in St. Petersburg, Fla. No relocation assistance available, nor is the option to work remotely.
