Women’s Health branded books is seeking an Assistant Editor to work in our New York City location. A background in book publishing and strong knowledge of the health, fitness and nutrition categories are essential.
Responsibilities include:
-Contributing editing, research, and writing to a variety of book titles appropriate for Women’s Health audiences
-Assisting in stewarding books from concept to final printed product
-Creating supporting marketing materials for each title
The ideal candidate will have:
- College degree
- 1-2 years of book publishing and editing experience
- Strong communication skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Demonstrated interest in health and fitness
