ELIGIBILITY: Female; resident of Montgomery County, MD for at least three years; and enrolled or enrolling for the first undergraduate degree at a Maryland college or university. Some attention will be given to financial need.
Please submit the following information with your completed application form:
1. A copy of your high school and/or college transcript.
2. Two letters of recommendation. They may be from a teacher, counselor, religious leader, employer or co-worker.
3. If you are self-supporting, please submit a copy of your income tax return. If you are not self-supporting, please submit the last income tax return of the person or persons who support you.
4. A one-page written essay about your goals in life or what you hope to achieve through your education.
5. A small photograph of yourself.
All information you submit will only be seen by the scholarship selection committee and will be held in strict confidence.
