JOB DESCRIPTION:
Notre Dame of Maryland University is currently seeking a full-time writer/editor with strong communication skills to join our marketing and communications team. As a writer/editor at Notre Dame of Maryland University, your basic function will be to conceptualize, develop and manage internal and external communications that support and advance the goals and objectives of marketing, enrollment management, institutional advancement, public and community relations, alumnae/alumni relations and other administrative areas.
REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will be a highly skilled, versatile, creative and experienced writer and editor. Candidate should possess initiative and the ability to work with a wide range of constituents on both team-oriented and independent projects. Candidate must possess the ability to consistently meet deadlines on projects as varied as presidential speeches to the university magazine.
Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a concentration in English, journalism, marketingcommunication arts or related field of study along with 3 years of professional writing and editing experience. Experience in a higher education setting is preferred.
